Commission Workflow & Payment

1. I retain the right to refuse a commission for any reason.2. By commissioning me you agree to the final product being used in my portfolio. Please let me know if you do not want this to be the case.3. I will advise of the total cost based on my pricing guide. Payments are taken through Stripe or Paypal. 50% of this cost will be paid before I start the commission, and 50% before I send the final file.4. Requests for song changes will be treated as cancellations if I have already begun work on the instrumental. These cancellations are non-refundable and the new song request will be treated as a separate commission (including a new payment sum).

4a. Make sure you are certain of your song choice before commissioning me.

5. If you have a hard deadline for the completed mix, please consult me beforehand to see if I am able to meet it.

5a. Rush Commissions: If you would like this to be a rush commission (completed within one week), please consult me personally for a quote.5b. Note: I will require vocals to be delivered within three days of the given deadline. I will not be waiving any additional rush fees if the vocalist is unable to deliver their lines within this time.

6. Rude comments towards myself or claiming my work as your own will not be tolerated. Any such behavior will result in an immediate cancellation of your commission and all future commissions will be refused.

Vocal File Formatting

1. All lines must be submitted as mono and be of wav file type.2. The files should abide by the following naming convention:

*Singer - Song title - Part
(e.g. John - Song Title - Upper Harmonies 1)*
Feel free to ask any questions if you are unsure

3. Please ensure that there are no overlapping lines on any track. Split overlapping lines into multiple tracks if necessary i.e. mains 1, mains 24. Ensure higher and lower harmonies are split into separate tracks i.e. upper harmonies 1, lower harmonies 1

4a. This includes any octave drops and any spoken or rap lines.

5. Vocals recorded from low quality microphones ( eg. phone mic or webcam mic ) will NOT be accepted.6. For mixes with multiple vocalists, a labelled lyric script of each vocalist's lines, harmonies, and adlibs will be required alongside all vocal tracks in order to guarantee a more accurate mix.7. Vocal retakes may incur additional costs if a large amount of extra time/tuning is involved and is initiated by the client.8. Please ensure there is no peaking/distortion in your tracks. I will ask for them to be re-recorded if they are present. Retakes under this category will not incur additional costs.9. Sung harmonies typically lead to a better product overall and are preferred.

Mix Revisions

1. You are entitled to 4 free major revisions. Any extra major revisions will incur an extra fee depending on complexity.

1a. A major revision is one that affects the entire composition of the track e.g. an instrument or style change.

2. You are entitled to as many minor revisions as you would like ( eg. volume, timing, reverb tweaks)

2a. Please be as detailed as possible when requesting your revisions. i.e. timestamps and a description of what should be done.

2b. e.g. 0:53-0:59 - "insert vocal line here" decrease in volume a little bit, 1:01-1:19 - Increase guitar volume by 1.2 dB

6. Crediting & Uploading to Streaming Services

1. You must credit me on any posts or uploads using my mix with this template:

2. If uploading to streaming services, you must credit me as the arranger.

3. You are responsible for obtaining the proper cover song distribution and monetisation license(s).

I will not assume any responsibility for any and all legal repercussions you may face upon failure to do so.

Pricing Guide & ETAs

The below pricing only applies to instrumental remakes/recreations. If you are interested in an original song, please inquire with me directly.

General Pricing

Typical working time is 3 weeks for an instrumental and 2 weeks for vocal mixing, I will advise more specific estimates upon inquiry.
Prices are 1.5x if client is a corporation or a larger creator.
Prices for vocal time/tune and/or mix are for 1-2 vocalists
Pricing includes rights to upload on streaming services, and youtube monetisation.

Additional Pricing Notes

The tables above display the base prices. More complex requests may incur additional costs.
Rush fees will incur a 1.5-2x increase depending on the timeframe and my availability.
Melody and harmony guides are piano or synth renders upon request (they are NOT sung).
Harmony guides will be a mix of my own choices of harmonies and what I can hear from the song.
