1. Commission & Payment

1. I retain the right to refuse a commission for any reason.2. Commissioning me includes both an instrumental and a vocal mix. Instrumental only commissions will only be accepted on a case by case basis.3. Please include relevant genre choices and reference tracks if possible.4. By commissioning me you agree to the final product being used in my portfolio. Please let me know if you do not want this to be the case.5. I will advise of the total cost based on my pricing guide. Payments are taken through Stripe or Paypal. 50% of this cost will be paid before I start the commission, and 50% before I send the final file.6. Once the first 50% is paid, I will begin working on the instrumental. I will then send a instrumental draft over to you for review. Once you are happy with it, you will record your vocals over and send them back to me to mix.7. Requests for song changes will be treated as cancellations if I have already begun work on the instrumental. These cancellations are non-refundable and the new song request will be treated as a separate commission (including a new payment sum).

7a. Make sure you are certain of your song choice before commissioning me.

8. If you have a hard deadline for the completed mix, please consult me beforehand to see if I am able to meet it.

8a. Rush Commissions: If you would like this to be a rush commission (completed within one week), please consult me personally for a quote.8b. Note: I will require vocals to be delivered within three days of the given deadline. I will not be waiving any additional rush fees if the vocalist is unable to deliver their lines within this time.

9. Rude comments towards myself or claiming my work as your own will not be tolerated. Any such behavior will result in an immediate cancellation of your commission and all future commissions will be refused.

2. The Workflow

This workflow is applicable to regular commissions.
Please consult me personally in the case of a rush commission.

1. Once the song choice, genre, and key signature/s are chosen, An instrumental draft will be sent though within 3 weeks for the vocalist/s to record over.2. We will then agree on a deadline in which you can record and send your vocals.

2a. If more than a month passes after this deadline and I do not hear from you, I will consider your commission canceled.2b. In this case, another 50% of the original payment will be required for me to continue the commission.2c. Hence, you will be paying 1.5x the original price of the commission. Please be sure that you are available to deliver your vocals before commissioning me.

3. Once the vocals have been received, it will take 2-3 weeks for me to mix the vocals.

3. Vocal File Formatting

1. All lines must be submitted as mono and be of wav file type.2. The files should abide by the following naming convention:

*Singer - Song title - Part
(e.g. John - Song Title - Upper Harmonies 1)*
Feel free to ask any questions if you are unsure

3. Please ensure that there are no overlapping lines on any track. Split overlapping lines into multiple tracks if necessary i.e. mains 1, mains 24. Ensure higher and lower harmonies are split into separate tracks i.e. upper harmonies 1, lower harmonies 1

4a. This includes any octave drops and any spoken or rap lines.

5. Vocals recorded from low quality microphones ( eg. phone mic or webcam mic ) will NOT be accepted.6. For mixes with multiple vocalists, a labelled lyric script of each vocalist's lines, harmonies, and adlibs will be required alongside all vocal tracks in order to guarantee a more accurate mix.7. Please ensure there is no peaking/distortion in your tracks. I will ask for them to be re-recorded if they are present.8. All resubmitted vocal retakes must be on the same track as the line was previously submitted on and the file must be named exactly the same so as to guarantee an easy substitution into my project file.
*these retakes will generally not incur any extra fees unless excessive timing and tuning is involved.

4. Mix Revisions

1. You are entitled to 4 free major revisions. Any extra major revisions will incur an extra fee depending on complexity.

1a. A major revision is one that affects the entire composition of the track e.g. an instrument or style change.

2. You are entitled to as many minor revisions as you would like ( eg. volume, timing, reverb tweaks)

2a. Please be as detailed as possible when requesting your revisions. i.e. timestamps and a description of what should be done.

2b. e.g. 0:53-0:59 - "insert vocal line here" decrease in volume a little bit, 1:01-1:19 - Increase guitar volume by 1.2 dB

5. Distribution

1. The prices listed on the pricing page include commercial use (Spotify, Youtube etc.).2. You are responsible for obtaining the proper cover song distribution and monetisation license(s).

I will not assume any responsibility for any and all legal repercussions you may face upon failure to do so.
